| 2009年 波兰 的 Kinga Baranowska 曾与 Nives 攀达 C4 (干城章嘉)，后来 Nives 因夫婿Romano之高山病发，在距山顶不足百米之处 毅然紧急下撤，幸运地抢回了老伴的生命。 其实2007年秋，Kinga 与 斯洛伐克 的 Dodo，亦曾在 道拉吉里 距山顶不足百米之处，因天气欠佳而断然下撤；次年，Kinga 卷土重来，终于成功登顶。(此处一段，好事者的评论 不译了：In such circumstances, the ability of making difficult decisions in extreme conditions is sometimes the one deciding about life or death and prooves the mental strenght of a climber.) 今年，Kinga 即将出发攀登 马卡鲁 (Makalu, 8485m) ，之后可能随 Gerlinde 再度攀登 K2。 奥地利 的 Gerlinde Kaltenbrunner今年可以专注攀爬 K2 了，之前她曾表示，这趟想尝试循北壁上去，但暂仍未见定案。 马卡鲁 是 Kinga 今年之首要目标 |
